A retired man intentionally knocked down a man because he bought the last pastry in the bakery, and thus, his mobility scooter was confiscated by the police.

The retired man was caught intentionally knocking down a man on Mill Street, Bideford, Devon, in the United Kingdom. He used his mobility scooter to hit the man who had just bought the last pastry in the bakery.
As the video shows, the elderly man on the mobility scooter is seen holding his cane with one hand while controlling his vehicle with the other. Moments later, the driver is seen hitting the man, while someone warns, “You just knocked him down!”
Devon and Cornwall police were able to identify the involved man, and his mobility scooter was seized. “We have identified the owner, but all other parties had left before our arrival. So far, we have no victims who have come forward to us,” they explained.
On the official Facebook page, Bideford police posted a message recounting the unusual incident, citing the video circulating on the Internet, and said, “If you were involved in the incident and wish to report it, call 101 and quote the reference number: 298 (12/12/23).”
